The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network has access to a wide range of health care services in a number of locations throughout the region. These services include accident and emergency, Aboriginal health, day and inpatient surgery, obstetrics, community health and aged care services. These facilities are supported by services in other locations.
The Ceduna Hospital has 15 acute overnight beds, four day only beds, two dialysis chairs and 38 beds for people requiring high and low level aged care. Port Lincoln Hospital and Health Service is part of the Eyre and Far North Health Service. The hospital includes a modern 50 bed complex complete with obstetrics, renal dialysis and operating facilities.
