Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day is an initiative to raise awareness and encourage open conversations about mental health, depression, anxiety and suicide among medical students and healthcare professionals working globally.
On Friday 7 June, everyone is encouraged to show their support of healthcare professionals and students’ mental health by wearing a pair of silly, colourful, or crazy socks.
Wear a pair of crazy and colourful socks, snap a photo and share it to social media using the hashtag #CrazySocks4Docs. Let’s together acknowledge the incredible service our doctors and health professionals provide for the community and continue to engage in conversations about mental health.
Each year in support of Crazy Socks 4 Docs day, the SA MET Unit team prepares wellbeing packs for Intern doctors across South Australia, including a pair of fun, vibrant, silly, or crazy socks for these doctors to wear on the day.
