Applications for internships for the 2025 Clinical Year are now closed. Submitted applications are being verified and referee reports are being sent. Referee reports close Thursday 13 June 2024.

Submitted applications are in the process of being verified and referee reports are being sent.
Your application will show one of the following statuses:
- Application incomplete: You have started an application for an intern position in South Australia – applications must be completed by the close date. Late applications are not accepted.
- Application is Ineligible: Your application has been determined to be ineligible. You have not met the eligibility criteria.
- Application under review: Your application has been submitted and is currently under review. You will be notified via email when your application progresses.
- Application verified: Application has been verified by the SA MET team. You will receive email notification when your referees have been contacted.
- Application verified and referees contacted: Your application has been verified and your referees contacted. The status of your application will be updated as your referee reports are completed.
- Referee 1 Complete *: Your first nominated referee has completed their referee report.
- Referee 2 Complete *: Your second nominated referee has completed their report.
- Referee 3 Complete *: Your third nominated referee has completed their referee report.
- Referees 1 & 2 Complete *: Your first and second nominated referees have completed their reports.
- Referees 2 & 3 Complete *: Your second and third nominated referees have completed their reports.
- Referee reports complete *: All of your referee reports have been completed. You will receive email confirmation once all of your referee reports have been completed.
* Referee status updates are completed manually and there may be a delay of up to 48 hours
