The SA MET Unit coordinates The South Australian Centralised Medical Internship Application and Allocation Process (The Centralised Process) on behalf of SA Health. The Centralised Process allows you to apply for internship across nine Local Health Networks (LHNs) with one application. The Centralised Process runs annually, in line with the National Intern Recruitment Process across Australia.
Applications for the 2027 Clinical year are now closed. Thank you for your interest in South Australia. See the SA Health Careers website for other opportunities.

ProvisionAL offer Update – 31 July 2026
Provisional offers are on hold until the 9am on Wednesday 13 August 2026, during the First National Audit of Acceptances and Unplaced Interns. See the South Australian Centralised Medical Internship Application and Allocation Process Guideline and FAQs below for more information about the National Audits.
Provisional offers will then be issued as declines and withdrawals are processed, and will continue until 16 October 2026.
